So the Warhammer World has come to a close, with two trailers. First about the next instalment of the Psychic awakening "the ritual of the damned." We know it's going to be about the thousand sons, but their insignia was beset with a spinning insignia of other chapters, both loyal and traitor. With the phrase no one can stop us. Let's look at their history, all rubric marines are dust in armour. No more than automatons, prior to the rubric of Ahriman being cast; we know they were still loyal to the Emperor. Does this mean that we are going to get a divided legion? Are the Thousands going to become whole again and remember they are still loyal? Will they be a centralist army, fighting the forces of chaos and loyal chapters? I would like to see we get a choice, like the fallen. Those that remain loyal will be wanting to change the imperium to what the Emperor wanted. Seeing the imperial creed as a form of religion and replacing it with the imperial truth. With their thirst for knowledge being their greatest strength and weakness, we could see them trying to right the wrongs of the imperium, this would explain the Black templars symbol showing. A space marine chapter infamous for their religious zeal. Magnus and Ahriman have both been working to reverse the spell. Have they achieved it? Also why are the grey knights and the dark angels involved. Is the lion going to return with luthor? This has the smell of Cypher all over it. We won't know until Christmas Day and shaking your laptop, computer or mobile device will not help. Trust me I tried.
The second trailer is for their anmiations, we heard they were going to do a youtube(?) series based on the blood angels; called the Angels of Death. The trailer showed a lot more including the Warhammer 40,000 adventure characters. There is going to be many series and I think dvds and being streamed (Games Workshop+ lol). The animations looks top notch and is being worked on by the warhammer forge. I am really excited for all of them, there is going to stories for children and adults, so you can get our little ones interested at an early age.
The first to be finished will be the Blood angels series "the angels of death,"with full trailer coming out during the Las vegas open in January. I am really excited about this, it looks like it will dark, violent and fun to watch. The teaser left us with a space marine saying "I thought, I'd never feel the chill on my skin again." Who do you think could be talking, it cant't be Sanguinius; can it???
