Not quite a scary, but still the fearsome foe. With some new strategems to help you create your own hive fleet, of steroid raged ants. Such as as hypermetabolic acceleration , re-rolling your advance or sense in the outer dark giving the bug players 4+ save on any wounds lost when fired at in overwatch. Tau players are going to hate that.



Of course if you don't want to create your own hive fleet, there is plenty to give your pre selected hive. Such as the Gorgon Adaptive toxins allowing re-rolls of a one or the Leviathan Hive Nexus psychic power with the low casting score of a six it increases synaptic range to 18" until the next psychic phase.




You can even use a strategem that increases the AP of your weapon after killing an enemy with. Such as killing a terminator, then you can increase your weapon to AP-1 on terminators. These new rules are making Tyranids more adherent to fluff with the ability to adapt on the fly (literally with gargoyles) . Making the game easier the longer you play. Lowering defenses and armour of your opponent as you adapt and survive.
